If you're experiencing issues working on webSam, such as the menu not opening when you try to access jobs or invoices or nothing happening when you try to use Quick Search, it could be due to conflicting browser extensions. 


One of the extensions known to cause conflicts is McAfeewhich adds an extension to your browser after the latest update. 

Having this extension may lead to difficulties on webSam, including encountering error messages that advise against clicking the 'Next' or 'Back' buttons on your keyboard!

 

 

 

NOTE:  To address this, we recommend either having the extension disabled or webSAM added to a whitelist / exceptions list. Below we outline how the extension can be removed from your browser however removal or disabling antivirus features can put your system at risk, so we strongly recommend speaking to your IT Service provider or IT department before making any changes to your antivirus systems.



To removed from your browser, please follow the steps below:

 

  1. Click on the three dots at the top right of your browser.
  2. Select "Settings."


 

  1. In the left menu, click on "Extensions."

     


  1. Locate any McAfee extensions and click on the "Remove" button.
