Why does this matter?
Each time you create an invoice in webSAM it’s saved against the vehicle, this means you can go back and look at work you have previously done. Need to know what kms you did that cambelt? Or perhaps a part has failed and you want to check if it’s still within warranty.
Or even simpler, you can quickly find out what parts you have used on the vehicle to check things like what oil filter to use or even how much engine oil the vehicle needs.
Accessing vehicle history
You can access this history at any time from the job screen or invoice screen, simply click on the file with a magnifying glass icon
This opens vehicle history, in the first tab you can see all the previous invoices. You can search for an old invoice and then click on the invoice number to open it.
In parts fitted you get a list of all the previous parts you’ve added to a job and their quantity. Just like the first tab you can click on the invoice number to open it
