Why start time clocking?

 

Time clocking helps you accurately capture how long a technician is spending on a job, this helps you charge correctly which can make you more money. The data also feeds into reporting which can be used to help boost productivity for the workshop.

Using time clocking

To access Time Clocking click on workshop and then Time Clocking

You’ll see a list of your technicians, from here you can see if they are clocked on (to a job or a non job) or not clocked on at all!

A technician can clock on by clicking their name and then in the next screen clicking on search

Find the job they want to clock onto and then click OK

Now they can change which job section they want to clock onto and finally once everything is correct they can click OK

You’ll now see that our technician Adrian Newey is clocked on. To clock him out click on his name again

And then enter the latest odo reading followed by OK

Our technician has now been clocked off and their labour added to the job
